Over the past year, I joined Saatchi & Saatchi Germany and became part of the REWE Creation Team as a motion designer.

I was involved in almost all major REWE campaigns — including Regio, Plant-Based, Bo Bonut, Christmas Handzettel. For many of these campaigns, I was responsible for developing the 2D-3D motion identity and executing content across different media.

What was especially interesting for me was that my role gradually shifted beyond pure execution. In several projects, I acted more like a motion director — thinking about consistency, storytelling, and how motion could strengthen the overall campaign idea.

REWE Bo-Bonus

when I first joined the Creation Team, the Bo animation  . did not be animated by creation team. Because of my background in animation, I pitched the idea that we could take ownership of this project internally and develop it further.

 Our team won the social media animation project for Bo Bonut, and I took on the role in shaping its animation.

REWE Christmas Handzettel

The REWE Christmas Handzettel campaign was a particularly beautiful project for me.

After receiving the concept, I was responsible for developing the animation identity for the campaign. This included adding post-production animation to the background photography — bringing a festive Christmas atmosphere to otherwise static visuals.

I also designed subtle UX animations, making sure the motion felt warm, elegant, and supportive of the overall design rather than overpowering it.

The project required very close collaboration with the account team, the creation team, and external partners. Through clear communication and alignment across all parties, we managed to deliver the project very smoothly — and the client was highly satisfied with the final result.

REWE Bo-Time

This is a branding advertisement design concept. I really like the "Bo-Time" advertisement that Saatchi & Saatchi created for REWE. It has given me a lot of fun ideas for character and animation design.

Based on the existing brand design, I have redesigned the character Bo for REWE with a cute look. Bo is depicted holding a voucher, sitting in a shopping cart enjoying fine wine, relaxing on a sofa while waiting for high-quality groceries from REWE’s online store. These everyday-life scenarios invite consumers to download the REWE app.

Advertising itself is an art of storytelling. I have a great passion for advertising, and whenever I come across an inspiring ad in my daily life, I recreate it, giving it new life and perspective through reinterpretation.​​​​

Chatacter design

This is my concept for the character Bo. I envision Bo as REWE's lifestyle influencer, someone relatable to us all.

3D Modeling & Rigging

Bo is a cute and fun claymation character. He is optimistic, cheerful, and loves life and sharing. In the design, I made sure that Bo's body has the softness of clay, with fingers and shoes that can move flexibly.
